How to connect your Shopify store to your eCM account


It's time to connect your Shopify store to your eCM account! 
Time to complete: 10-15 minutes

To connect your Shopify store to your eCM account, you will need to manage your Shopify app settings directly from your Shopify store. 


GETTING STARTED

1. First, log into your Shopify store as the store owner
2. From your Shopify admin, click on "Apps" on the left side menu. If all you see on the left menu is "add apps," click on the search bar on the top of the screen and click the icon that says "Apps"A dropdown menu will appear where you are able to select App and sales channels settings.

 


3. Make sure that your Develop apps has been enabled. You may need to click on Develop apps in the top right corner (see image below) first. Once you see the "Start developing apps on your store" page, click the green button in the center of the page titled Allow custom app development. 








4. Read and acknowledge the terms, then click "Allow custom app development" to continue





Great! You have enabled custom app development. Next, you will need to set up permissions to allow your eCM concierge to post on your behalf. Stay on the Shopify page you are on, and continue to the next steps below.


    NEXT, SET UP PERMISSIONS ON SHOPIFY FOR YOUR eCM ACCOUNT

    1. You will already be on the left settings menu, select "Users and permissions"




    3. In the staff section, click on the "Add Staff" button




    4. Let's start in the top of the staff section. Add the following information on the form:
    1. First Name: Ronati
    2. Last Name: eCM
    3. Email:  ecmsupport@ronati.com 




    5. Then, scroll down the page, under "Store permissions" check the following permission boxes:
    1. Products
      1. This should select all 7 options below Products. This will allow us to add and edit items in your store on your behalf.
    2. App development
      1. Check the box next to View apps developed by staff and collaborators
      2. Then select, Develop apps
    3. Store Settings
      1. Check the box next to Manage settings




    6. Click "Send Invite"


    That's it!

    Once we receive the invitation from Shopify, we will complete the connection to your eCM account.
